Those Albedo textures you can make in paint. Just make a text 72 or so size. Save to pics, drag into content draw. Just if someone needs to know. There just a temporary placement.

Hi when I paint layered texture on landscape the transition between one texture and another is blurry...how can I have a sharp edges between the 2 texture, its a landscape resolution problem ?

Looks amazing! I do have one problem with the displacement though, it appears to be inverted on my landscape, such as the cervices being higher than the rocks. Do you know what's going on or how I could fix it?
Use x-1 one to invert it
Under my landscape variation group only UseLandscapeVariation is showing up in my Material instance. Trying to find solution. I have checked that they are in the parameter group proper..
I did not check UseLandscapeVariation by default. Once I selected it in the instance all the parameters showed up.
This is badass and easy to follow! It is also easy to understand why you are doing things even as a beginner, dont listen to the whiners.
I know its not so easy for beginner, but if i explain every step will be 24 hours video… 😃 There is documentation and forums to check each node functionality.

Water is not showing on the landscape is there some trick in UE5.4?
It's height based. But I would highly suggest to use my Water Interactive System as the "water" layer in this shader is just like a puddle and kind of outdated. It's not interactive, you can't swim and so on. Instead disable this layer and where you need puddle, river, lake, water use the Interactive Water System. Check my latest videos about it.
Great tutorial. The only thing I would have loved would be more information about the various nodes you are using - the whys and hows, etc.

How can we add to control the displacement of all single Layers with multipliers into you’re awesome Landscape auto material from you’re Patreon Channel? Will it updated soon?
Still displacement is controlled in the overall material setting. Did not found a way to control it per layer at the moment. For the moment I did not found an option to do it. The only option is to play around with the texture itself with color node that can control black/white which represent the tessellation. This could work tho.
Hi loved the way you thought but i got an issue regarding water .... i haven't got any error but my water instance is not working please help me on that
To be honest you don't need it. Check my last video about Interactive Water and Swim System. The Water layer in this shader is outdated and you can't swim, dive or interact with it. That is why I've created a complete new system that is replacing this. Turn off the water layer and use the Interactive Water & Swim System instead.
A easyer Way is to set the Gaea Scale to 1009 or 2017 and so on and the height to 512 (max heigh range). Then you don’t calculating anything in Unreal. Set scale to 100x 100y 100z.. Works for me.

Select your landscape and in the details panel search for nanite. Click the checkbox and it will be on.

Hey CG Dealers. In my Case i become an - SM6 Function MF_SlopeMask: (Node PixelNormalWS) Invalid node PixelNormalWS used for Normal input - Error in my Landscape Material. Do you have any Idea or Solution for this.

Replace the PixelNormalWS with the material function “WorldAlignedBlend” and use the "w/Explicit Normal". This is a known issue dating back over a decade. It fixed it for me.

Yes, that is the idea. Turn off the water layer there and use water and swim system instead.

Is anyone having trouble on 5.4? I made some changes to my level instance of the path but its not updating to the blueprint. Its still using the 1st version that I created. I just wanted to move some rocks around. Tried hitting force regen in the PCG graph deleted the old level instance in the graph and brought it in again but it still wont update. Nevermind I fixed it lol.

@@kenjixo around 7:05 he was saying that you need to save what you changed and then on the instanced level of the mesh path you were working on you right click on script asset actions > PCG Level to PCG Settings. That should update the BP mesh with the changes you made. I guess I wasn't doing something right at first but then it just worked for me.

You can't cast from Float with 2 parameters to Float with 3 parameters. Like casting from XY to XYZ.

Is this blend setup possible to do in a material blend layer system? And most importantly is it possible to stack it up with 4 or five layers in a material blend setup? I just made I high blended material I material layered system but it’s far from perfect. It works though. Using upset 7 to pass trough the height. This setup u made looks much better. :). Thank you 🙏
